I will be available for tutoring every Tuesday from 3:10pm – 4:00pm or morning upon request from student. Student are encouraged to come to tutoring if there is a concept they are having difficulty, would like extra practice with a skill, or would like helping studying information.
The ESL Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) are organized into the following strands: Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking. Students will engage in activities that build on their prior knowledge and skills in order to strengthen their language acquisition of the English language in the areas of Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking. Students will utilize the ilit curriculum.

Plagiarism is defined as “the use of any other person’s work as one’s own and the unacknowledged use of that work in one’s own work.” All work must be the student’s own work. Any plagiarized work will result in a grade of zero along with a parent-teacher-administrator conference.
A student will be responsible for obtaining and completing the make-up work in a satisfactory manner and within the time specified by the district policy. Student should check the calendar for the assignments. Get the assignment and directions from the teacher.
Assignments given in this class are not optional. Assignments will be posited in the classroom and given orally. If you do not do the assignment you will receive a zero for the assignment, until the assignment is turned in. Late work will be accepted at 10 points off per day.
